Misaligned Volunteer Coaching and Arbitration Services

In a sentence or two, what would you say to another Volunteer Administrator or Organization Executive about Volunteer Relations℠ consulting, training & coaching and what it's done for you?

Marla Benson was very objective and professional in her dealings with me and after thoroughly reviewing documentation, assured me that I was not imagining the issues that we were experiencing.  Her online material and her explanations of the damage that can occur as a result of Misaligned Volunteers allowed us to put a name to the challenge we were facing in our organization.

What would you say to someone who is on the fence about getting started with Marla Benson and Volunteer Relations℠ consulting, training & coaching?

Please contact her and open up to her.  The Misaligned Volunteer is extreme and not unlike an abuse situation.  This volunteer used manipulation and  intimidation to make those around them feel guilty and remain silent.  Marla and her work helps you to recognize what is occurring and she gives you the courage and tools to break the silence and take appropriate actions.

Do you have any other benefits you want to mention about Marla Benson and Volunteer Relations℠ consulting, training & coaching, or anything else you want to add?

Her consulting helps you to understand something that you may have not wanted to believe.  In our case, the Volunteer who appeared to be the most conscientious and dedicated was also a highly Misaligned and destructive Volunteer.  Understanding that was the first and most essential step in healing for us as staff individuals, our organization and our other volunteers.

"Keep focused on the project and keep your vision clear with the Patient in mind!!!"

This is one of my favorite key takeaways from my time working with Executive Coach Marla Benson.

There were 4 major takeaways from my time working with Marla, each critical towards my success and success of our initiatives.

1.  How to stay focused on the project without personal bias that may have swayed actions and reactions

2.  How to be more effective in collaborating with others to reach goals

3.  How to facilitate to promote team participation and interactions

4.  How to keep communication focused and succinct

The coaching relationship was challenging and enlightening.  Marla used a 360 degree report to allow me to see myself as others saw me.  Before working with Marla, I always knew my intentions were good and my vision was clear, but the 360 report was a real eye-opener.  With that in hand, I looked introspectively to determine what I could change and what I would be willing to work on.  We then set out a plan of priorities for my desired levels of improvement and tools to get there and stay there.

Since my Coaching relationship, I am more confident in my interactions, now perceived as a resource and a coach in my organization. I utilize the tools I learned to better showcase my talents and to demonstrate the good intentions that were there all along.
